“A cross-disciplinary research environment committed to materializing memorable design aesthetics through innovative and competitive realization processes.”
That is how the Politecnico describes it. The lab covers algorithmic design, 3D and 4D modelling, robotic programming, and the design and realisation of innovative building systems, and runs workshops in computational design and robotic fabrication.

The cell
Two arms, one program
An R2000iC and an M710iC on Güdel rails under a single R-30iB controller. Our fork of the Robots plugin for Rhino 8 and Grasshopper extends the Fanuc post-processor to emit multi-group .LS programs, with the rail axes treated as part of the kinematic chain.
